The survey conducted on Thursday and Friday showed that a number of those who voted for the Republican president in the presidential elections that took place on the third of November expressed their opposition to the president's hard-line supporters who stormed Congress during the ratification session of the election results, which he lost to Democrat Joe Biden.

The current US House of Representatives Speaker, Nancy Pelosi, is also calling for Trump to be dismissed, or for the activation of Article 25 of the US Constitution to remove the president from office.

Democrats in the House of Representatives, which has the power to hold Trump accountable, will hold a conference call at 12:00 local time (1700 GMT) to discuss next steps.

Likewise, at least one Republican member of the Senate is considering supporting the efforts of Democrats in the US Congress to take measures to impeach Trump for a second time.
