Trump refused to do Corona tests for everyone .. He suggested that he do the same as Mexico: until you get to the hospital and vomit!

In a closer look at President Donald Trump's last few months in office, The New York Times published a new detailed report on what the outgoing US president wanted to deal with the worsening pandemic of the emerging coronavirus.

Newspaper The Independent British said Thursday, December 31 / December 2020, said that Trump was heard yelling at his brother in law and his senior adviser Jared Kushner, August 19 / August, he said he called for "doing what you do Mexico" in regard to testing Kovid -19.

How did Trump think about fighting the Corona pandemic?

"They don't give you a test until you get to the hospital and vomit," he said during a meeting of his top aides in the Oval Office.

This statement reflects Trump's thinking , in the past, about how to detect cases of the emerging coronavirus in the United States, or specifically: the fewer the number of tests, the fewer positive cases registered.

The New York Times also reported that Trump was disappointed because Dr Francis Collins, head of the National Institutes of Health, said it would take days before the government grants approval for the use of convalescent plasma to treat Covid-19.

“They are Democrats! They are against me! They want to wait!” Trump said, arguing that the top medical professionals in the government were conspiring against him.

According to interviews with more than two dozen current and former administration officials, the US president's main concern about managing the public health crisis in the last quarter of his presidency is mainly how he benefited from the crisis.

He was afraid Biden would take advantage of the pandemic

For example, while the US president has made public promises of a vaccine availability by Election Day, he has expressed concern that Joe Biden will gain credibility if the deadline is not met.

When the White House spokesperson, Brian Morgenstern, was asked to make a statement about the administration's response to the emerging corona virus, he made only positive words, saying: "President Trump led the largest mobilization of the public and private sectors since World War II to defeat Covid-19 and save lives."

Even as experts like Alex Azar, the Secretary of Health and Human Services, continue to persuade Trump of the need to wear masks, the president is said to have continued to blame the outbreak of the pandemic on a large number of tests.
