The career of former German international Mesut Ozil may witness a new and unexpected stop during the next season, in light of the efforts of a Premier League club in England to sign him.

Hull City club, competing in the English Championship "Champion Sheep", opened the door for Ozil's return, to the English stadiums again.

Ozil is currently experiencing difficult times, following the decision to suspend him until the end of the season by his current club, Fenerbahce, with his teammate, Ozan Tofan.

Ozil is a candidate to return to England

Although the Turkish club did not reveal the reasons for this decision, Turkish media indicated that it came after there were major differences between the player and coach Ismail Kartal.

Ozil joined Fenerbahce on January 25, 2021, from Arsenal, whose last days witnessed major disagreements between the player and the club's management, as well as the collapse of his relationship with Spanish coach Mikel Arteta.

Akon Alikali, the new owner of Hull City, revealed his desire to sign Ozil, especially after the player's recent conditions.

Ozil has a contract with Fenerbahce until June 30, 2024, and his recent disputes may contribute to his departure from the team, which Ikali seeks to exploit.

TEAMtalk reported that Hull City's new owner, who holds Turkish citizenship, wants to sign Ozil as a first step in his plan to bring the club back into the Premier League.

Long career with Arsenal

Ozil played with Arsenal in the "Premier League" since joining him on September 2, 2013, until the beginning of 2021, during which he defended the shirt in 254 games in all competitions, scored 27 goals, and provided 80 assists.

And it seems that the millionaire Elicali wants to revolutionize the English team through contracts from his country, especially after he agreed last January with Fenerbahce to include the Iranian striker Lahyar Seidemanche on loan.

Meanwhile, Turkish media reports confirm that Ilkay is very close to resolving the deal to include Dutchman Ryan Babel, who is currently with Galatasaray.

Despite these developments, Erkut Sogut, Ozil's agent, confirmed that the player is not currently considering leaving Fenerbahce.

Sogut said, "Ozil did not want to reach this stage of disputes, but he does not want to leave the club and leave Ozan alone, he is training with him."

Hull City currently occupies the twentieth place in the "Championship Ship" table with 41 points, 13 points clear of the relegation places.

Hull City led to a new loss in its last match in the English Premier League, on Friday, April 1, 2022, in front of its guest Huddersfield Town, with a goal without a response.

Ozil played 37 matches for Fenerbahce, in which he scored 9 goals and provided 3 assists.
